Help with son

My son has a wide range of issues. He has a chromosomal condition called XYY and as well as that has ASD, ADHD/ADD in the process of being diagnosed. The XYY is a developmental condition and really is the only sure diagnosis we have even though it looks likely all the others are present.

I’m so worried for my son. He’s so lonely and isolated. Wants friends but doesn’t know how to be a friend or how to play. We live on a street full of kids but I have to be there all the time because things go wrong. My son upsets kids, wanting their attention but nit knowing how to go about it properly.

I really want help from like minded people or parents of people going through similar but I don’t know where to turn.

What town are you in? Or county? I feel for you...it must be worrying. There might be a group near you for people in this situation...where your son can meet other kids.

Hello

Please take a look at:

contact.org.uk/

I do not know if it will help in your specific situation and I am not an expert but please also take a look at:

www.ucl.ac.uk/educational-psychology/resources/CS1Songara16-19.pdf

Although it says the evidence base is emerging I am aware that it could be helpful.

May be also take a look at:
