my 8 year old son has just been privately tested and I was told he has some degree of dislexia and probably some dyspraxia. am just awaiting the report. I am informing his teachers and tutor, but what else can i do? has anyone tried the Dore programme? would love any advice...

Have the school already raised this as an issue? Does he have an IEP?

There will probably be some people along soon to say that the Dore prog didn't help their offspring at all..........
Please do be careful, it's expensive and doesn't always work

My DS does not have a daisnosis, I just suspect. I looked at Dore , but all I got was a very hard sales approach.

He does Kumon literacy now, and that seems to help him a lot, as its geared to his speed and level and the constant repition helps him.
