CTOPP 2 test results

I've just seen a copy of my daughter's Form 8 report and her scores on the CTOPP 2 test are Rapid digit naming SS 55 and Rapid letter naming SS 55. Does anyone know what this means?

It means she has below average phonological processing speed - it takes her longer than the average child to process information and respond to it

It's an extremely low score isn't it? She sits her GCSE's in 3 months time and this is the 1st time school have assessed her, despite me talking regularly to the SEN department since year 8.

It is pretty low and on that basis I hope they are giving her extra time for the exams?

They have applied for extra time - that's what the form 8 is all about. I just wish they had been giving her extra time for the past 4 years.
