Moving towards diagnosis

After being signed off from SALT, we finally had a second paeds appointment with my 4 year old (18 months in systemise). Whilst he clearly has many strengths and doesn't present in a dramatic way (he tends to internalise things instead), he also has some social and emotional issues and some extreme anxiety. He is likely to need support starting school in September. It was quite a lot to take in so I am waiting for the doctor's letter but also want to get ahead of getting my head round stuff. The doctor did also ask if I'd ever considered if I was 'on the spectrum' looking at my history to which the answer is yes but not sure pursuing that at this point is helpful/necessary.
Anyway, long story short, are there any books/resources out there for pre-schoolers who show autistic traits and how to support them with coping strategies.
