Recommendations for ASD MS school

I was wondering if anyone had any experience of a good inclusive mainstream secondary school in Herts for children on the spectrum please. Currently constantly fighting a diabolical, unlawful head with one unhappy child in tow.

do you want an independent or state school? if you want independent, have a look at st christophers in letchworth, if state then look at monks walk. all the best x

Thank you. I guess state but would consider both. However I don’t have money for expensive school fees. I know Monks Walk. What makes you recommend them? I will look at st Christopher’s. Thank you.

i suggested monks walk because my friends's dd went there (left after GCSES about 3 years ago) and she also had ASD, and from what i understand received good levels of support x

Thank you. I did consider this school in the initial year 7 application.

Have you looked at Sherrardswood on Welwyn? Independent mainstream with a really good reputation for SEN

Hi, I’d love to be able to send him to a small independent like sherrardswood. Could never afford it unfortunately.
