EHCP for ADHD

Hi, my son is in Y6 and the sendco would like to do an EHCP.
I am not sure what ate the pros and cons of having one done?
What accommodation could be made for ADHD?

I don't think there are any cons. If your son gets an EHCP with properly specified support for his difficulties, that can only be helpful to him.
