Hi this is my first thread so no idea if I’m posting in the right place 😂

So we’re looking to move to Devon, no idea exactly where as it would be school dependent, son is 13 he is autistic and has ADHD, full time funded EHCP been on waiting list for special needs school as high priority for 3 years, also have another boy age 7.

So basically any advice on the best mainstream schools for special needs children in Devon? Called a few councils and have been told there are no school places in the specialist schools (like all over the country) also recommendations for Primary schools... we live in Thurrock at the moment so the 3 of us are relocating 200 miles away with no local knowledge and no friends in the area so advise appreciated!!
(Just to add I’m trying to relocate with my current employment if not will be needed a new job ASAP if there’s any advise there lol)
Thanks guys!!

I would look at moving somewhere like Plympton. It has longcause community specialist school, which caters for children up to age 17 who have autism and other learning difficulties. it also has plympton primary. Plympton itself has a good selection of shops etc and is a nice place to live x
