CELF-4 test

Hi. My DD had a CELF-4 test completed a few weeks ago after we'd pushed the school to look into our 8 year olds performance for a number of months (make that years!).

The test results were not unexpected:
Concepts/Following Direction - Standard Score 4 / Percentile Rank 2
Word Classes - Standard score 5 / Percentile rank 5
Word Structure - Standard score 5 / Percentile rank 5
Recalling sentences - Standard score 8 / Percentile rank 25
Formulated sentences - Standard score 11 / Percentile rank 63

As you can see the majority of the test results came back with very low scores. However, in summing up at the end of the report the SLT describes DD as having 'mild' receptive and expressive language difficulties. I've read elsewhere on the net that any Standard score less than 7 indicates a child is at least 2 years behind expected levels. Are we misinterpreting the results? To us they point to her having significant/severe issues rather than 'mild'.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.
