We have a 3 year old whom we adopted over 2 years ago. He is a May birthday. He seems delayed in certain areas and has recently been diagnosed with Oral dyspraxia - so his speech isn’t very clear. He attends nursery five mornings a week.
We are thinking of keeping him back a year - he is fortunate to go to a very nurturing (and expensive!) nursery where adult to child ratio is 1 adult to 5 or 6 kids. We would keep him at that nursery.
Has anyone held back their child? How easy is it to do? Are you pleased you did?
