Private assessments have come back no ADHD, but the one that was arranged through school says yes?

What on earth do you do in this situation?

Seek advice on how to support them.
Strategies to support a child with ADHD are not going to harm a child who doesn't have it.

Who has made the diagnosis?

Medics get it wrong sometimes. My ds has an adhd diagnosis after years of being told nothing was wrong (nhs). We considered going private because we knew something wasn't quite right.

What does your gut feeling tell you?

Tbh at least now you can tell all the negative nellies that you didn't pay for a private diagnosis (general assumption from many is that if you're paying for it, you can pretty much tell them what you want to diagnose, even if we know that's not factually true).
