Morrison's Introduces Autism Hour

I know this isn't an Education topic but I can't find another SN topic easily. It's some years since I was a regular on the SN boards. It's useful info anyway. Please repost elsewhere if more appropriate.

All Morrisons stores are introducing Autism Hour on Saturdays 9am to 10am. They aim to reduce noise and loudspeaker announcements etc to decrease sensory stress which causes so many meltdowns in our children while shopping.

We were in our local one of the last week at the end of the quiet hour. They dim the lights too. Was strange to be so quiet with subdued lighting

Morrison's are quite innovative with their "Wonky" fruit and veg range and more money to farmers milk
