EP for ASD/PDA SEND Tribunal

Hi

Our son has an EHCP and is moving to secondary school in sept. He has PDA.

We are appealing the LA’s choice of secondary school - currently its a mainstream with a resourced unit and we want him to go to an independent school. We are Manchester based.

We have been looking for a suitable EP to carry out an assessment and give evidence at the Tribunal. We have come across one called Debbie Haffner at Leah Burman Associates.

Does anyone have any experience of using Debbie for both report and Tribunal?

We are at the begining of a journey that is likely to be similar to yours (finally got into the CAMHS system and our dd has been referred to Neurodevelopment). We suspect PDA although it isn't recognised in our county, unfortunately!

Just wanted to say that it might be worth joining the PDA facebook page, and the Operation Diversity page on facebook as there are members on there nationally and I'm sure someone could reccommend and EP for you.
