will you lovely ladies (and gents) please help me? I'm currently on an access course at college, going to uni in September. I have been conducting a research project on forest schools and children with ADHD or Social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. After 2 months I have had no response from other platforms and I would really appreciate it any of you can please fill in a short questionnaire.
no personal data is collected. some questions are personal but you can opt out.
I already know the outcome is that children with ADHD are currently not supported in a forest school setting, I've found this out through a lack of secondary research.
I will attach the link to the google form questionnaire it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

I don't understand this statement.
How do you 'know' children who have ADHD don't get support when they spend time at forest school ? Confused
How can you have "found that out through a lack of secondary research" ? Confused

'not supported' was the wrong phrase. I apologise if I have offended.
What I was trying to say and I realise I failed miserably at, is that there is NO evidence or research documented on children with ADHD in forest school settings.
All the secondary research I have done over four months have all pointed to it just being predominately nursery age and just for resilience and confidence building generally.
There is just one line in Sara Knights book which determines modern urban living and a lack of nature is adding to behavioural and emotional difficulties including ADHD.
This was the reason I have conducted this questionnaire to determine if forest schools is widely available and if it has a positive effect on the Children. Having fallen flat on other platforms I have utilised MN to gain answers but even posting on SEN and Education threads didn't get me any answers.

Then, IMO, you need to be a lot clearer about what it is you are asking.
You need to ask for responses from teachers, TAs and from parents who know dc who go to forest school.
You might also want to determine what this entails - as people's interpretation of the term 'forest school' is very, very different. You seem to be talking about a whole day - some will go out for 'a lesson' and do some outdoor ed type work on school premises.

Thanks for the advice.
What I should have said is that this is only a level.3 course and therefore doesn't need to be that in depth. I'm hoping when I start my level 4 in September that I can use this data to further research and have more quuantative and qualitative data. I had approached schools and forest schools in the beginning of my research with a more detailed summary of goals etc this was in November and yes of yet not one person has got back to me.
I could show you the whole of my research, hypothesis etc, and I'm sure you would find some holes and that would be fine as I could refine my technique for my next one.
But considering it is only 6 credits at level 3 and technically just a practice time for uni I think I've done pretty ok.
My tutor said for now I could falsify my results because it's just practice.
Again thanks to the pointers they will go in my evaluation and improved on next time
