How can I stop my son chewing?

Son chews everything from clothes to bottle tops and now he is chewing his toenails so much that he hardly has any nails and his toes keeps bleeding.
He is 11 and does it without thinking. He has chew toys but he just can't stop doing it.

Sorry, I don't know about chewing but suggest you repost in sen chat or sen children, as there's more traffic there.

I have just brought my son a chewy buddy.
It looks like a little man that they hang around their neck and they can chew that u too their heart is content! Google it, hope it helps

Have you tried different foods? Try spicey, cold, crunchy? Make sure that the foods are safe as part of his normal diet. You could also try massage or stimulation with things like a vibrating toothbrush.
Lots of ideas out there to meet a sensory need!
Let us know how you get on.
