Moving during a diagnosis

Hello all!!

My husband has been offered a new job in a new county and my DS who is nearly 3 has had his initial assessment for autism and now we're waiting on his formal assessment. I'm just wondering if we would have to have the initial assessment again? I hope I'm making sense Confused

Presumably the whole move is going to take you a while anyway ? Selling up, finding somewhere new to live, everything going through ?
By then I'd have thought you'd have been seen for the follow up appointments ?
Once they have a diagnosis, that is national, and doesn't have to be repeated, but it does complicate things to move 1/2 way though as all Authorities do things differently.
I would speak to the CDC (or wherever you are attending - I know this varies too) and ask them what would happen if you move.
