Hearing Aids & Glasses

Has anyone got a primary age DC that wears both and has found a magic solution on how to get them to wear both without it hurting their ears / glasses knocking HA out of place? My DC has no issue with one or other but hates wearing both at the same time and says it hurts their ears etc. I'm desperate to get this cracked before the new term starts!

Surely the optician fits the arms of the glasses to account for the hearing aid?
They do this all the time for a large % of elderly people.

In our case glasses came before HA. Kids glasses tend to be be robust for good reason, as were ours. Thats means quite thick arms. Then came HA and my DC has quite small ears so we are ready struggling

Yes, but you can go back to the optician and they will adjust the fit.
If that pair for some reason can't be adjusted, then thy will replace them (I'm presuming you are in the UK where dcs glasses are free?)
