global development delay

hi. i have a friend whos 4 year old boy has global development delay. i have told her about mumsnet, so that she can get some advice and support and shes thinking of registering. is there anyone who has a child diagnosed with this?

I hope she will register with Mumsnet (asap!) and then goes to the Special Needs section of the board. There are lots of people on there who could both advise and support.

My son was originally diagnosed with developmental delay and speech and language delay. He is doing very well at Junior school.

ah fantastic, she'll be really chuffed. will get her to register today. hes currently in a special needs class and would love her to have other mums who have been through the same thing to talk to.

ST2 has also been diagnosed with GDD
