Educational psychologist observation. What to expect?

I've had a feeling that something isn't quite 'right' with DD (8yrs old) for a long, long time.

After lots of pushing with school, the educational psychologist is coming in to observe her soon. The observation will last around 1-2 hours and then a meeting with myself.

I have no idea what to expect or what the next steps will be.

This is all very new to be and I'm feeling nervous and anxious about the whole thing Sad

They will literally sit and watch her in class, walk around the playground at break observing her playing (or whatever she does) and take some notes from the teacher to ascertain if she has any concerns. It will all be put in a report which should be sent to you. If there are concerns then she will then refer on to appropriate persons.
