Ok, for those who don't know (I ahven't mentioned on MN yet)we were told that DS3 can't start MS school this year. They can't tell us mroe until after Ed Psych (due 25th ) but he isn't ready or capable. OK, we sort of knew that (though deep down thought we were imagining it but anyway). then we found out that he failed some of the checklists ofor one year olds and he hadn't progressed enough to go above the 24 mkonth tests (he's 3.5). We hoep he can do an extra year in Nursery, have to wait for school to OK and Ed psych. he's also due at paeds tomorrow for his fiorst visit.

Good on the HV's and their cutting the developmental checks eh?

Anyway, I explained this to a group of the Mums at a nursery party today and then just after one, who ahd heard, started hgetiing verye xcited because her ds might get a school placve after all! Yes, dear- why do you think that place has suddenly come available (she's out of catchment, we get a guaranteed place because of how it works and where we live).

have these people got no sensitivity?????

What a thoughtless comment.
Some people are completely self-obsessed.
I hope the Ed Psych assessment means that DS3 gets the support he needs.

unbelievable. You're making it up I bet.
