DS, aged 15, is likely to have to leave his current SEN school (for children with dyslexia) where he is a day pupil for the next academic year. No major problem, just that the social gap between him and his peers has grown to the extent that the predominant view is that he needs a more specialist environment. Recommended schools nearish us are Farleigh FE College in Somerset, and Grately House School in Andover. Bearing in mind he will have to weekly board (because of distance), can anyone give me any info on either of these options? DS is autistic with a low IQ, but with a lovely, if over-anxious, disposition.
