My daughter has been assessed as dyslexic 2 years ago by dyslexia action. We changed schools 9 months ago and a SEN planner mtg is taking place on Tuesday. I have been asked for my input. Although I have got lots to say I do not know where to start. Any help or advice or buzz words to be used would be helpful.
dS is working at year 2 level and is in year 4. Really struggles with maths, spellings, comprehension (she under SALT), retaining infrmation, processing info and working memory. Can not recall anything she was taught two mins previous.
It is affecting self esteem.,
This meeting with decide whether she is observed by the educational psychologist and strategies put in pace and extra intervention. Therefore I want my input spit on.
Anyone op put together some info for a similar meeting to support their child?
