Best laptop or similar for dyspraxic child to use at school?

Asking for any recommendations for a friend - school are not willing to provide one, but the child will be allowed to bring one in of their own. Needs to be used for everything really, incl maths working out if possible (so something with a touchscreen feature perhaps or a tablet with separate keyboard?).

My DD started with a netbook but fould it frustrating the time it took to log on when she needed to use it.
She is now using an iPad which is great. So many apps that are useful to her at school.
