I have a daughter with AS, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and an anxiety disorder. Looking for a secondary school for her in kingston or RIchmond. Can anyone advise me which schools have good SEN provision. Am really lost with the whole thing. Not sure if mainstream is right for her and she is currently school refusing.

Does she have a statement? Blossom House might be a possibility - they were about to move to Kingston from Wimbledon, not sure if they have moved already.

Also look at Canbury.

She does have a statement which we are aopealing (tribunal next week) and has been offered a place at blossom house but we also need to look at mainstream provision incase LA refuse to fund her place

We looked at Canbury but they will only offer a place if she has a support package including a TA and we don't know if LA will agree to that so we need to look at mainstream provision too

Look at The Priory Lodge School in Putney/Barnes. It's a specialist ASD school with a mainstream curriculum - ie for kids who are smart but who can't cope with all the social pressures of mainstream school. It seems very good.

Its a lot more expensive than Blossom House though :(

You may have a conclusion to this already but if Priory Lodge is what your daughter needs, and from your description I doubt the pressure of mainstream would work for her if she has very high anxiety. The LA can be convinced. My son is at PL funded by our LA and I would describe him just as you've described your daughter. If she has a diagnosis of anxiety disorder I would imagine you've got a good chance. Good luck.
