I've just received our secondary place for our daughter, we applied for a special school which is out of our county and they said she has not got a place because it is full. We have got a place at our local special school, which has its advantages but is not as good as the other school.
Is it worth the appeal because they say there is no space for her?
I'm truly torn, I can see advantages of the local school, she could in time get herself there, its attached to a secondary where she could go over for lessons and hopefully do some GCSE's. They do after school clubs and holiday sessions, but we really loved the other school and felt she would do so well there. We knew it was a long shot so should we try again?
