DS,5, has SEN because soils daily and frustrated behaviour related to same. Has continence nurse and school nurse and paediatrician assistance and been assessed twice by 2 different ed psychs. All say no issue other than toileting, but school insist he wears pull ups. He is a tall boy, so only fits night time ones for 4-7 years. He wears boxers on top so no one can see. I was very against this but it has given him the confidence he lacked when in reception and his behaviour at school has improved greatly. Continence nurse now wants to remove them and says he won't make progress if doesn't. School will fight this- what do I do? am I wrong to want him to continue in pull ups? He doesn't like them, but doesn't fight wearing them. He doesn't wear them at home and poos far more for us than he does at school.
