The school/Local Authority should be providing school work or arranging for an alternate education from the 6th day of exclusion. Is this happening? If not get onto the school/LA straight away.

IPSEA has lots of information about exclusions on it's website.

www.ipsea.org.uk has a lot of information on exclusions for those with and without a statement.

Why was your son ever placed in a PRU in the first place?. A PRU is not an appropriate place at all for anybody on the autistic spectrum.

My son was placed in the PRU, after being at home for 8 months with no school.....,he was a PRU for 1 yr, till a new head came in, excluded my son not permanent, but he isnt allowed back to that school....,ipsea have really helped me, they are also helping with the tribunal which I have to do, as the school they have named in his statement not suitable, all of this is very stressful...., thanks for all who have left messages...
