hi,, I posted recently about Audiotory Processing Dissorder.
Ok, had the meeting with his teacher and being put ahead for an assessment with senco. Had another meeting this morning with his Numeracy teacher and suspect that she is the one who instigated this. He is behind in numeracy big time - why the hell has noone been listening to me at school before all this!!! Anyway, she is thinking that it's a receptive language problem and is now waiting for the assessment. Anyone any ideass of this latest develoment or what receptive language problems is? He has no behavioural problems and is a happy nearly 8 year old boy. A slow and steady reader but doing well, just doesn't seem to be clicking with accademic stuff.
