Hi I’m looking at a business idea and would love some both positive and constructive feedback with little ones at home and bored kids would something like a bake package work? Like I would weigh out ingredients and print out instructions etc for your little ones to bake to kids perfection? Just thinking with basic cake mixes etc in supermarkets it would be nice for them to bake more exciting things? Haven’t looked into cost yet but open to any suggestions thank you 😊

What about perishables. Milk/egg/butter? In postage...
I dont want to be a downer but I dont think it would work. Many parents who bake have bulk ingredients in already and weighing out is a big part of the fun anf a life lesson in numbers for younger kids.

Also work out your costs including time and postage and packaging printing. Especially if your including perrishables and then consider your mark up.
What would I pay for this- £5 at a farmers market as a one off novelty maybe

a local posh organic no plastic shop sells glass jars with ingredients for cookies or soups etc. but you can only do the dry ingredients and it is v expensive for what you get. I’ve never bought them.

Craft & Crumb do lovely kits for kids. We’ve got them as party favors.

Ive seen the fancy ones in bottles and agree they’re pricy. Though M&S do a bottle of dry ingredients for rainbow cookies that are very nice looking, or you can just buy the chilled dough. I’m not sure most parents would pay the mark up on a regular basis though.
