Need a business name for my nutrition business

Namenutrition · 10/12/2025 00:48

Hello,

Through too many business name generator AI searches, I now am in despair that every single name interesting nutrition business name has been taken and the overthinking constantly is slowly driving me crazy.

I am a qualified nutritionist searching for a professional and creative business name which sums up that I would like to provide dietary assistance for people in mid-life with conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, perimenopause, menopause, gut issues such as dysbiosis, bone health such as oesteopenia, MCAS and Histamine intolerance and nutritional deficiencies such as iron deficiency.

The consultations I will provide will be based in a pharmacy.

Some of the names I have considered aligning with the middle age condition target audience are:
My own name Nutrition (boring and I'd rather not use but might have to if nothing else is availble)
Recipe for health (already taken)
Nourishing midlife
New Leaf Nutrition (taken)
And countless others

Other names considered and rejected aligning with keeping the location in the pharmacy in mind include
A dose of diet
Pharmaplate
Nutrifarm etc.

I would not like it to be too wordy, and profession yet creative. I have tried to put together names involving nutrition journeys, map, compass, harvest, advocacy, etc. but it is proving difficult in that they are all taken.

I am passionate about health and very good at connecting the dots when it comes to wellbeing.

I like the thought of intercepting in the health lineup so that patients visiting their doctor then collecting their scripts get access to quality nutritional advice early in the the piece.

Thoughts and helpful suggestions are most welcome at this stage. TIA.

Surname Health Compass

Helps keep it unique, professional, and you can develop a framework under that a sell access to it. Good luck!

Whywhywhyyyy · 10/12/2025 00:53

Don’t just think of a name in isolation. Get on domain sites like godaddy - put in some of these words and see if anything stands out.

Your name needs to have;
available web domain
social media handles
not be trademarked
not be used on companies house as a Ltd company

Offleyhoo · 10/12/2025 00:55

Midlife Nutrition

  • clear it's about nutrition not dieting (or anything else)
  • clear target audience
  • professional
  • doesn't use your name but I would put your name and qualifications in brackets underneath

Good luck, really good idea

Whywhywhyyyy · 10/12/2025 01:05

I am going for Ventrum

Latin for gut

Available on .co.uk
Available on Facebook, TikTok and I believe Instagram
Available on companies house
Not trademarked

Whywhywhyyyy · 10/12/2025 01:09

Ok no that’s wrong.

Ventrem is gut
Ventrum is belly/ abdomen

But I think I still quite like that it’s strong and one word. With socials now the name needs to be short to fit in the tiny circle.

Namenutrition · 10/12/2025 01:09

@LinkedinLovely Thanks but still not keen on using my own name (even last name)

@Whywhywhyyyy Thanks. This is my second business so I looked at these aspects, which unfortunatley has severely limited the availble pool of names choices.

@Offleyhoo Yes I like that the name is so clear and transparent however I would like something with some uplifting connatations about mid-life - I thought about Next chapter nutrition but taken.

@Whywhywhyyyy I like your creativity! But I am not sure that it emcompasses everything I want to support (even though all good health starts from the gut:).

“Connecting the dots of health and wellbeing” is your strapline. With something that strong the brand name can be anything, random, personal… one word is all you need.
Legally protect the strapline.

Are you a Registered Nutritionist? Or registered Dietitian? I would think that to start with your name with your title could be a good place to start and once you build clients etc go from there? Personally, I would be more concerned about setting yourself apart from the fact that anyone can call themselves a nutritionist with dubious qualifications and experience and it’s a crowded space with so many wellness influencer types with low quality (if any ) credentials? Also, as someone practicing within a pharmacy, and working alongside Pharmacists who are highly regulated, it would look more professional? Also allows you to pivot specialism?

WonderfulSmith · 11/12/2025 23:20

You aren’t the lady who was trying to find a name for her vegan food are you?

Mrsbunnychops · 11/12/2025 23:23

so if you are registered, It adds so much credibility I personally put My name, qualifications ie BSc (hons), MSc RD Registered Dietitian

Mrsbunnychops · 11/12/2025 23:24

Once things get going you could add business name etc? Good luck 👍🏻

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 11/12/2025 23:30

What are people going to google if they are looking for a nutritionist in your area? The name of your county or town and the word nutrition, probably.

So why not call it something based on that?

Fibonacci2 · 11/12/2025 23:39

Yeah, I’m a qualified nutritionist too….it means nothing. Anyone can call themselves this, did you not do any due diligence with what your ‘qualifications’ would mean?

You might well be really great at your job, which is awesome, but why oh why would you take that path….

Outofthebluetoo · 11/12/2025 23:41

I assume a consultant in Harley Street or a prominent Barrister would just use their name and qualifications ( as suggested by other posters)
think Big !
.. get known by your name for recommendations/ referrals . Making up a corporate name doesn’t really mean anything ..maybe ?

Namenutrition · 12/12/2025 08:52

@Fibonacci2
@Mrsbunnychops
Thank you for your concern but I have researched my path well.
I am a registered Clinical Nutritionist (university qualified with a year of client facing consultations). One further year of study qualifies me as a dietician. I also have another health degree and post graduate health qualifications under my belt, so no need to fret.
I needed help with a name not help with my career path or degree thank you.

@WonderfulSmith No.

Thanks everyone - I have come up with a great name and now ready to roll.

As a RD, don’t know what a registered clinical nutritionist is - not a title I’ve heard of in the UK - but good luck!

AnnaQuayInTheUk · 12/12/2025 19:34

As far as I'm aware, there's no such thing as a Registered Nutritionist. A Dietician is covered by professional standards and professional registration. The problem is, the majority of the public don't know the difference.

Mrsbunnychops · 12/12/2025 19:35

There is no such registered title in Uk - registered by whom?

Sleepeazie · 12/12/2025 19:46

symbiotic you
