I am looking into setting up a business in escorting clients to hospital appointments, shopping trips etc.

Some, if not all in my area get this kind of service from “Friends” of their local surgery. A volunteer collects them & brings them home again from surgery, hospital, dentist etc. Small fee payable as it’s usually charity based.

You need to do a feasibility study to assess what call there would be for it locally.

Nice idea. You need people in good health themselves and who are free and able to commit. I imagine parking charges alone would be quite off putting, plus the hanging around during appointments, or the faff of organising this.
