Am wondering how any other sellers of second hand goods are dealing with the GPSR regulations to Europe. Not really sure how books would be considered unsafe, perhaps by dropping them on toes, but there is no way I can meet the paper trail of documentation of product traceability that seems to be expected. At the moment I have just decided to stop selling to Europe as I think it is only around 5% of my turnover but wondering how other small businesses are dealing with the situation.

There's a thread about it, may be some helpful info in among the politics!

I don't get it, safety issues on paper product seems mad, regardless of which regions are affected.

I have a meeting with a company that deals with this sort of thing on Wednesday. I sell quite a bit to the EU and NI but I manufacture my own products. Not sure how I need to play it just yet so have paused sending to those places for now.
