Can I ask if anybody has set up a tutoring agency on here? And what their experiences have been?

Can anyone help with this? I have wanted to start a tutoring agency for years, and am finally ready to take the leap.

It would be amazing to hear from people who have done this (I hope MN can help).

Not a tutor agency, a tutoring business. My daughter aged 16 has, so maybe not what you are after. She set up a page locally. She is doing A levels. She got her DBS check done. She did a paediatric first aid course. She only tutors when parents are there. She tutors primary. She does 4 - 5 hours a week and gets paid £15 an hour. So £60 a week.

They is a Facebook group called something like tutor support, where advice is given. An agency will take a large cut so every teacher I know - just does it themselves.

That’s very resourceful!
