Hello
I don't seem able to search the thread in case this has come up. Any thoughts on branded promotional merchandise ie what are the bestseller items? T-shirts, mugs, coasters, window-stickers? And anyone have any good recommendations for manufacturers? Thanks so much for any input.

What's the business? When would you be using the merch?

I go to tech/cybersecurity conferences and the best merch is linked to the product and useful.

For example I got a couple of 3in1 usb charger adapters, some web cam covers, charger/cable tidy roll, one of the stands had these brilliant Minecraft inspired plastic light up swords that my daughter loved. The stalls that were most memorable and well attended on the day did giveaways of stuff like Dutch pancakes, barista coffees, non-alcoholic cocktails, a session on the buzzy massage chair....in return for being added to the mailing list.

It's a local newsletter - the only one in the area. Started Feb this year and we will be on the Christmas market, meeting and greeting so people know who's behind it.
It's had a lot of traction so would love to keep momentum going and perhaps earn a bit of funding towards costs selling a branded item.

Local Xmas market, I'd be tempted to go with a gimmick and get a selfie prop cutout thing made so it looks like your newsletter with some kind of Xmas headline and an image of something xmassy (Santa, elf, reindeer) where people can stick their head and have a photo taken by family/friends.
