Can anyone give me advice on starting a children party hire business?

It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now - but I’ve never done anything like it or worked for myself.

Im looking to start a children’s slumber party/teepee party hire. I think I would like to start by working it around my current job, delivering the evening before or Friday-Sunday.

Where do I begin? What do I need to think about legally?

I’ve found someone who is selling the kit and materials.. I’m just not sure where to go from there!

any advice is much appreciated.

You should consider working in one for several months. Learn the ropes, ask the founder questions (what they would do differently if they opened one now), figure out their operations, their pricing structure, packages, upsells, find out who their suppliers are.

I used to be in this business when it first started getting popular. In my area the type of party is now near nonexistent. Myself and the other big company in the area both cashed out before it crashed.
It may be different in your area but i had a friend in the biggest franchise and they all quit in the end - all over the Uk.

Is there enough business in your area and why is the person selling up? Think about this before you buy.
