How to advertise small business on Mumsnet

Hi,

I’m the co- founder of an online education business. Can someone please advise how I go about advertising here? I sent an enquiry but that appears to be for large business at nearly £2k…way beyond start up money!

Additionally, I posted here and comments suggested I was trying to con with free advertising 🤷‍♂️

Any help much appreciated- thank you 😊

You have to pay for it, like everyone else, or you find cheaper places to advertise. Any new start up should have some kind of advertising budget, some types of business need a higher amount than others.

Yup, pay for it like everyone else!

It is definitely worth to try. The amount of visitors you will receive might surprise your business. I am thinking about advertising my jewelry tiny business here also.

Not sure why you’re getting slightly irritable responses, given that this is a reasonable question in the business section of the website.

I think the answer is that Mumsnet is much ‘bigger business’ than its slightly homespun look. So the costs reflect the fact that the Mumsnet demographic is highly sought after.

Have you tried Facebook advertising? NCT? Or those local ‘Families’ magazines?
