How much did you pay to WIX for a sole operator business site?

Is the hosting, service any good?

Anything I need to watch out for?

I pay £16 something a month - it's cheaper to pay the year up front but a) I didn't want to make a hefty investment up front and b) wasn't sure if I was going to stay with Wix in the future. It's a decent Web builder in my experience and good templates. I find making edits to the mobile site a nightmare but that might be me!

I bought my domain from Godaddy so had to fiddle around changing all the host settings etc but wix had a guide for it that was easy to follow.

do WIX themselves sell the domains?

Yes they do - I think if you do the yearly plan they throw in the domain for free for the first year.

Just bear in mind if you decide later down the line to change your template you will have to basically build a new website, I recently had to do this for a client of mine it was a nightmare, I usually tell clients to avoid them like the plague I design most of my websites for clients using wordpress so they can easily update and the whole look can be changed in a few hours rather than days!
