Where to begin?

I've been formulating an idea for something for several years but for various personal reasons couldn't move forward until now.

Very much still at lightbulb stage but I am passionate about it and I think there would be a good market for it though initially I know I'll need to do the less interesting "bread and butter" work

But I need guidance and also possibly to locate funding and some training in certain areas

It's providing a service - the "bread and butter" side is along the idea of VA type work but I want to build on that and include certain craft skills I also have to lean into more creative contracts.

Would very much appreciate any hints, tips, experience or agencies that may be able to help?

You are going to have to be way more specific than "providing a service" and "certain craft skills".
You are unlikely get funding beyond a personal loan unless you need to do a degree and qualify for a student loan.

If it's info on the virtual assistant side then check out vact.co.uk - lots of free info on there.

Funding may not be essential at this stage tbh as very much just starting out
