You can set it up as your accountant's address or there are companies that will provide an address for you. There is a charge for both but it's not a huge amount.

There are shared offices you can hire out a desk/small office, some of them also have address services too, perhaps look into whether that would work?

Use your accountants address. The only way you can't avoid sharing your trading address, which may be your home, is if you need to comply with the Consumer Contract Regulations. In which case, it's a legal requirement and the only way around it is to not work from home.
I wouldn't worry too much. I've been an online retailer for over ten years, nine of which I had my home address displayed in several places. Nothing ever came of it. Not even a random customer turning up unannounced.

Get a Ghost mail account. They provide you with a business address and then scan and forward you any mail you are sent for a reasonable fee.

Accountants address

I use a business address with PObox. It costs about £70 per year. It is organised through a company called Rapid Formations.

Do be aware of a recent case where court papers were served on the address given at Companies House for a director (not the director's home address). A court judgment was obtained against that individual and the court on appeal said that was fine - if you give such a service address it is then down to you to check carefully everything that is received there for you and if you don't that is just tough luck.

I did this too with the same outfit.
