Child Model Agency

Hello All,
I’m asking for some advice. I have recently registered my daughter for a modelling agency, she is 9 years old. We have never done this before so totally new to everything. I was wondering whether I need to pay for a portfolio or whether I can create one myself or whether I need one??? I obviously don’t want to spend a lot of money if she doesn’t get much work. I’ve heard of horror stories where people pay thousands and get absolutely zero work. Has anybody else been in this position and I would love your advice.

No you don’t need to pay for a portfolio, she just needs clear shots and her portfolio will be built up with any work she gets.

Hoping to get some advice please. So often I’m told my son would make a great model. He’s only 20 months so it’s something I’m thinking long and hard about. I honestly wouldn’t know where to start and who would be a good agency to go with. Id want to make sure it’s something that would be ok with and enjoy too. Has anyone gone through this with a young child before? Could you possibly advise any UK agency’s you know of and how best to start? Thanks in advance!!
