Do I need to tell my current employer/ will my tax code change

I have recently set up a small side business. I highly doubt it will make me a lot of money it's just a side eBay business. I am the director of the company and this year I am hoping to take out £2000 in dividends when the accounting is done.
I work part time will this affect my tax code/do I need to tell my employer?

If you are going down as an employee you may get new tax codes as anyone with more than one source of income does. It will effectively split your tax allowance, if you earn under the threshold in your main job.
As to whether you have to tell your employer largely depends on the size of organisation and if you have anything in your contract about working elsewhere. If it is a small company you may wish to give the person who does payroll a heads up about getting a new tax code.
