Female Property Developers

I am thinking of becoming a full time property developer however I am very nervous about taking the plunge. I currently own a small portfolio already and would like to know if there are any female property developers on here that I could get some advice from before committing to this?

I would like to understand the challenges faced as a woman,
How you got started,
And any tips or advice about starting out.

Potentially I would like to find investors and a mentor also.

Are you a member of any property association eg NRLA (previously NLA)?

NRLA have a property forum with some very experienced landlords and you may be able to link up with women who have developed property.

I have developed a portfolio of 8 houses. 3 were in a poor state and I got them renovated. DH did some work for me but I got contractors in to do other jobs. I can probably answer questions for you.
