Finding a web designer that doesn't cost a fortune

I'm willing to spend some money on my website as opposed to hiring someone off fiverrr but all I seem to be finding in my Google search are websites around the 5k Mark. I just can't spend that much at the moment. Anyone recommend anyone?

What do you need to be done? That will influence who you need in terms of experience and also the cost. You’re often paying for the Search Engine Optimisation rather than the website getting up and running.

I need a website that covers about me, case studies snd the consulting services I will offer and let them pay for it.

You’ll get it for a lot less than 5k. Get in touch with independents such as the above.

I thought about building by my own site on Wix because most web designers were so bloody expensive, but then I found a company called Greendore that has similar pricing to Wix (mines was £12 a month, and that includes everything) but they build it for me instead of me doing it.

Build your own. It’s surprisingly easy using something like Wix. I am a pen and paper person and managed it.

We designer who charges 5k+ here (don't worry I'm not recommending myself 😂) I actually recommend people don't spend that kind of money on a website until they're bringing a lot in! I recommend a diy option. I usually recommend people use Wordpress and a page builder like Elementor (where you can drag and drop things around the page where you like). Hope that helps!
