twin sling?

Are there any slings suitable for twins? I know I won't be able to carry both together for very long, but when they're little, using a sling would be great as it will leave my hands free to play with ds. Any suggestions or am I imagining the impossible?

yep, as PC says you can use a moby (or any stretchy wrap) with twins

a friend with twins used to use a wrap for one on her front and the other in a mei tai on her back

thanks - I was sure it would be possible with a stretchy wrap, hadn't found those pics with my "twin sling" google. Instructions on the moby site look straightforward I presume the same will work with a Kari-Me (which I already have two of)?

There is a twin sling called a Weego. It is a buckle carrier made in Austria I think. It looks very well made. have a google.

I carried my 2 in a Kari-me when they were very little. They seem to have taken the instructions for it off their website (or I imagined them in the first place), but just used each side as a pouch. Did mean one sat on the other, but no-one seemed to mind

MamaChris · 03/07/2010 20:42

Thanks rattling, that is now my plan (having seen the moby instructions)

You can also wear two pouch slings at once.

Loads of info on www.thebabywearer.com

Articles here (Look towards the very bottom of the list)

It's worth joining the tbw forums as well, if you haven't already. They have a whole section devoted to babywearing multiples, so you should be able to get some good advice there.
