Dye rubbing off in Solarweave Connecta?

I'm borrowing a Solarweave Connecta to see if I want to buy one. I do quite like it.

However when I used it yesterday the red dye seemed to rub off on DS's clothes where he'd been slobbering on the sling. (He is 5.5 months and cuting 2 teeth - hence there's plenty of dribble!

Has anyone else had this happen (or had a baby who liked to chew their Solarweave but not had this happen?)

I've just e-mailed the company to ask them, and asked the sling agent through whom I borrowed it (she's not heard of it before).

Any advice?

Just in case anyone's reading this and it makes them unsure about the Solarweave, I talked to Hannah at Connecta and she suggested washing the sling with normal detergent and some salt, which fixed the problem. Neither she nor anyone else I've spoken to has come across this problem before, so it could have just been that it was washed with someone's red t-shirt!

Just off to order my Solarweave now.
