My 11mth (18lb) is too heavy to hold in 'normal' way facing in and out.

I know its a stretchy wrap so heavier he is more give it has but instructions say up to 30 odd lbs, Can find any info in which way this would work.

Luckily i have a R&R, Baby K and a Mei tai to keep me going

Hello, didn't want you to feel unanswered but not quite sure what you're asking (probably being dim).

Are you asking whether there's something you're doing wrong with the Close as it doesn't seem as supportive as advertised?

I think a lot of people will agree that manufacturers of stretchy wraps make claims that some might consider implausible. My rather small DD was far too heavy for the Close at 7 months. Facing inwards will certainly feel more suppported than facing out.

I think there are more general remarks about this here, but don't quote me

Yes, very lucky you have other stash - I predict it's the start of a larger collection

Can it be used in any other position apart from the 'norm'...

Still carrying him (11mth) in it but feel the strain after a while (hour or so)

Thanks for reply, I have a custom Mei tai on order
