I washed my moby wrap on a 30 degree instead of cold, and now its shrunk and not so stretchy....

have I ruined it? or is there a chance it could return to being nice and comfy again ?

I love it. Although I suspect I may now be better off with a woven as ds2 is very heavy...

Have you actually tried using it? I always washed mine at thirty and as soon as I put it on and stuck dd in it then it stretched back to normal. In fact, the heavier she got the more frequently I washed it in an attempt to not have to buy a different sling. Didn't work

yes, I have worn it twice, it definitely doesn't feel the same

Is nowhere near as supportive. Or maybe, it's just that I haven't worn DS2 for a week or so and he's got v heavy in that time

I shall keep trying though !

I hope think it;s ok, I've been wearing it most of today and it seems fine. Phew !

Although it does feel like DS2 is getting too heavy for it.

made me worried, I always wash mine on 40 and I've never noticed it feeling anything other than a bit less sicky stinky

puffylovett · 01/03/2010 17:47

DS2 always misses my wrap & hits me right in the cleavage

I would call them, not being able to wash at 30 degrees is ridiculous, and the coolest wash on my machine. Imo 30 is a cold wash, well coolish anyway. I wash my moby at 40 and it's been fine.
