Slings for people with mobility issues?

I'm pregnant with our second child and I'd like to buy a sling or baby carrier. I need a walking stick to get around so I'm looking for something fairly simple to use that won't throw my balance too much. Tried a Baby Bjorn with DD1 and we both hated it. Any advice? Many thanks.

I can't help myself but if you post your question on www.naturalmamas.co.uk I think you're likely to find people who will be able to help.

Second that recommendation. Depending on where you are you may be able to attend a slingmeet and try lots of different ones too.

Anything that holds the baby nice and close to your body will be an improvement on the BB in terms of balance as the baby's weight doesn't pull you forward as much.

A moby or a meitai would work well I think - it's holding them in close and keeping them above your waist so that your centre of gravity is right that is really important in keeping balance.
