Talk to me about the Moby

I bought one after trying a similar one(Kari-me, I think) with DS1. After arrival of DS2 tried it on and I just dont get it. Are you meant to fold it in half first? (lengthways)
If not, it just is huge and unmanageable on the shoulders and I just cant make it work. If I cant sort it out will have to sell it, it just seems beyond me.

Have you tried looking on youtube for videos showing how to wrap? Will try and find a decent video for you..

Is this any help?

You can fold if you like (pull out to full width on the part that's supporting the baby though); I tended to sort of gather it up on the shoulders so it didn't drape down over my upper arms at all.
own instructions are pretty good actually www.mobywrap.com/t-instructions.aspx
Hope you get on with it in the end!

Argh messed up the link

The good thing about the Moby is that it's really soft and elastic, so it's perfect for a premature baby or a just born. The bad thing is that as your baby grows older and heavier, you will need a stronger, more firm sling. So, if you don't want to end up buying to slings, you could go for a Diymos or a Hoppediz instead (those are just examples, there are many other brands out there).

Oops, I meant to say "two" slings, not "to". Silly keyboard!

You have many videos explaining how to use a sling in YouTube, also when you buy a sling it usually comes which instructions.

Yes, you are meant to fold it in half lengthways before you wrap. I loved mine - I hope you get the hang of it quickly!
