Has anyone used a Close sling?

Hello

I'm 24 weeks with my first and am thinking of getting a sling. We live in London, so I think it would be handy for public transport etc. Plus I just like the idea of having baby close to me for those early months

My brother and SIL gave us a Baby Bjorn, which my DH loves already, but I'm thinking I'd prefer a sling. I want something over both shoulders, that's easy to put on and comfortable and so far the Close sling is looking good.

Has anyone used it and if so, what did you think?

I'd also love to hear of any other slings you'd recommend - I feel a bit clueless at times!

Hi there, I used the Close carrier for dd2 and it was absolutely fantastic - i really cant stress how great it was. dd2 was really happy in it and it meant i could just carry on with life. I bought it new but sold it on ebay which is definitely worth a look - there were a lot of them on there when i sold mine. I can honestly say it was the best item i bought for the babies ever!!

Agree, agree, agree with mummymoomy.

I love, love, love my Close sling. It was a random impulse purchase in John Lewis when I was 39 weeks pregnant and has been a life-saver with my 18 week old. It is soooooooo comfy and snuggly and generally fab. Definitely a thumbs up from me (and my 3yr old who often puts it on and puts a teddy in it....).

Caitni- I have one of these. You can pop round and have a go with it before you fork out if you want.

I am still getting used to it but DD slept through a 2 hour trip to the shops today so am pleased so far!

Hello MrsH

Glad to hear DD2 was so beautifully behaved during a 2 hour shopping trip! Would love to meet up, and meet the little lady in person, and of course catch up with you properly too

Fab - will Facebook you when I am next on there!

BTW, I got my sling from Kiddicare.com. I think it was a shade under £50 which was cheaper than other places, so might be worth a look.

Will definitely check out Kiddicare xxx
