Toddler carrier recommendations

Dear all, I’d be really grateful for some recommendations of toddler carriers where the weight is carried through the hips. Looking for forward facing carrier (with little one on front rather than back) that is super quick and easy to put on.

We already have a wildride which is great for short distances but looking for something to carry the little one on a longer journey. He’s 14 months - ideally I’d like to be able to use it for quite a while before he grows out of it.

Thanks in advance!

14 months is too old for forward facing. They are too heavy at that point for their weight to distribute in a way that is comfortable for both you and baby.

I don’t have one myself but I’ve heard that Tula Toddler and Lenny Lamb are good for older babies / toddlers. I bought an Artipoppe toddler carrier which I’ve yet to use as DS is still small enough to be in the ergobaby but when I’ve tried that on it’s been pretty comfortable (although that’s not on sale all the time).
